While working at Mance Creative, I designed various posters, banners, and graphics. This particular project was for Film Out San Diego's Film Festival in 2018. I designed the poster, tickets, and ads that were featured in local magazines as well as managed their social media posts, email blasts, web ads.
It was FilmOut's 20th anniversary and I wanted to create something festive and "delicious." I went with a cupcake served on a film reel and the board loved it. The film reel features images of the various films that would be played during the festival. Where space wouldn't allow, I simply used the cupcake image for the marketing materials.
Tickets for the various films also had to be printed so I designed them using colors and elements from the main poster. Each film had different sponsors so I had to coordinate and make sure their logos were prominent enough.
The double truck ad was featured in a couple local LGBT publications.
